Are there any other fees?
The only fees we charge our agents are the annual license dues ($99) and any applicable state fees,
The State Charges $25 for every new hire.
The State Charges $100 every 2 years to keep your license active ($200 for brokers)
Only If Applicable: License Change or Reactivation - State of New Jersey
If you are changing your license type from a salesperson to a referral agent you will be charged an additional one time $50 fee for "license type change"
If your license is expired there is a $150 Reinstatement fee (salesperson) and $250 (broker-salesperson)
New licensees only: application fees are $160 for salesperson (referral) and $270 (broker-salesperson / referral)
License Renewal Fees - State of New Jersey
The state charges a $100 fee every 2 years to keep your sales-persons license active and $200 for broker-salespersons license.
Do I need to complete CE credits as a referral agent?
Good news! You do not need to complete CE credits as a referral agent. If you switch your license from a referral license to a salesperson, the state may ask that you complete CE credits depending on how much time has passed.
Can I really refer a client to any agent at any brokerage?
Absolutely! And we'll even do the paperwork for you and help you find an agent to refer to.
How long does it take to switch my license?

Do I need to join the board or an MLS?
As a referral agent you do not need to join the NAR or any local MLS.

The NJ REC requires that I send all referral agents the following statement: Please acknowledge that as a referral agent you acknowledge that your brokerage activity is limited to referring prospects to me or my designees' at Hearth Referrals LLC / MyNJLicense (yes we can refer outside of the brokerage and outside of the area)
